Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we do! We are currently in-network with several insurance companies.

Prior to your initial appointment, we recommend you call the Member Services telephone number on the back of your insurance card to inquire about eligibility and benefits for outpatient speech therapy. Each plan is different and services may be subject to a deductible, co-insurance or co-payment. We accept payment in cash or check for all out-of-pocket expenses.

What if Sound Speech Therapy is not a provider with your insurance?

We can help! If Sound Speech Therapy is not a provider with your insurance, we will help you work with your insurance company to get reimbursed for therapy services. Please inquire about Fee-for-Service rates for evaluation and treatment.

How do I get started?

Call or email Sound Speech Therapy at info@soundspeechllc.com or 860-670-6950 to discuss your concerns and determine if you or your child may benefit from therapy. You can also fill out the Contact Us form here and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

We know people get sick and at times you have to cancel last minute! As per our cancellation policy, every client is allowed two cancellations without a 24-hour notice, per year. After that, you will be charged a $50 fee for canceling without a 24 hours notice.
